The past few weeks i have got to clearing more ground and now have rasberry canes (early and late variety’s), garlic, broad beans, onions (early variety) an shallots (planted today,last week Feb) all have taken well :). I have seen many different bulbs that are coming out the grassed areas,(iris,miniature daffodils and wild cyclamen) its realy nice to see them as I did not think there was anything there apart from grass, so very pleased and looking forward to see what varieties they are. I have also come across a wild primrose (yellow) looks like it has been there for quite a few years. With my pond i have seen one big frog couple weeks ago, around 1st week febuary 2011, today last week of Feb, there is two very big clumps of frog spawn! looking forward to see them growing an hopefully eating those slugs!
