Sanctuary

I took the plot on in March 2014 and am really pleased with how it’s looking, with the help of my partner we’ve created a plot we’re both proud of, the shed (see attached photo),was inspired by a visit to Wells-next-the-sea in Norfolk where there are miles of beach huts and it seemed appropriate to have one on the plot in Brighton.

Looking forward to the start of the new growing season and in anticipation of better weather on the way, I have got tomatoes, tomatillos, Inca berries, cucamelons and Padron peppers growing having been inspired to try some ‘new’ crops by reading James Wong’s ‘homegrown revolution’ book. ( i’ve grown tomatoes before and had some success with Padron peppers last year).

I have been told I am in remission for non-hodgkins lymphoma and am awaiting a scan to check whether the radiotherapy has ‘worked’ on the carcinoma, I will know mid April.
