“Mr Mullins action sought from the Council that any increase in rents should be by the same rate as other recreational activities. A Court of law found that the Council did breach the law and another Court warned them about further breaches. The Council have decided not to increase rents in 2012 when they were due to increase and furthermore, it has been reported from a well informed source that the Council will in future increase rents by the same rate of increase as other recreational activities. This means that the original demand and reason for the legal action has been achieved.”
