Good Food Small Grants Scheme
New small grants scheme for Brighton and Hove!
The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership is pleased to announce the opening of a new grants scheme for the city. The scheme is now open for applications.
Who can be funded and how much?
Grants of up to £1,000 for projects or £250 for one-off events are open to community and voluntary groups, schools, and individuals or informal networks working within Brighton and Hove. There are two different application processes: one for groups seeking £500 or less and another for groups seeking upwards of £500.
What types of projects are eligible?
The grant scheme is looking to fund the following three types of projects or events:
· Projects that increase the availability of fresh, healthy food
· Projects that build and/or strengthen healthy eating messages
· Projects that build and/or strengthen a local and sustainable food system
Important dates
Application deadline: 13 December 2006, 5:00pm
Notification of the results will be made by: 1 February 2007
Grants will be issued to successful projects: March 2007
Projects and evaluations reports completed by: March 2008
