The Brighton and Lewes Division of the Sussex Beekeepers Association welcomes beekeepers of all ages and levels of experience.

At their divisional and members' apiaries they demonstrate a range of beekeeping methods and use of different types of hives, from Conventional to Top Bar Hives and Warre.

They promote ways to keep bees healthy and control swarming by being aware of their needs and working with them.

They are a friendly group of local beekeepers, both hobby and commerical, who meet regularly throughout the year.

In summer the meetings are at an out-apiary and they look through hives and discuss their findings over a cup of tea.

In winter they have indoor lectures in Lewes on many topics of interest to novice and experiences beekeepers.
