Chates Farm was a working dairy farmyard surrounded by terraced housing. It is now one of the smallest allotment sites and easily the closest to the city centre.
Plots are in high demand so many of them have been halved. Most plots have additional co-workers, which makes it a friendly site with plenty of people about.
