My new allotment 43/2 St Louie Portslade!

Hello all

My name is Julia and I have just been given a half plot on the St Louie allotment. It has been left for a couple of years so the council is going to strim it for me, I have made a small clearing and have actually reached soil so I can now start planting some of the plants I have got in the greenhouse I have borrowed!

I went to a car boot sale last week and picked up some fabulous tools, one of which is a Mattock and is such an amazing tool. I dug 2 raised beds for my mum last night and it took an hour, with a spade it would have taken 4 at least!

I will add pictures and more info shortly but it is nice to have a place I can log my updates!
