Pollinators and Allotments
Laurie Jackson from Buglife (The Invertebrate Conservation Charity) spoke at our AGM last month on the importance of pollinators in growing food. Pollinating insects, (not just Bees) have a very special role to play in food production, many are also endangered, and allotments are the perfect places to encourage and sustain pollinating insects.
The PDF below shows some of the slides that Laurie presented at our AGM.
